Lagos Fintech Week (LFW) is a whole week of several FinTech events that includes exciting discussions, stimulating demos and insightful debates.
The event started Tuesday, 23 and will end Friday, 26 April, 2019 at Lagos Oriental Hotel. The following are the experts from the event.

At #LagosfintechWeek Masterclass, Mr. Folashodun Adebisi Shonubi, The Deputy Governor of the Central Bank of Nigeria(Operations) shared data on #fintechs and an Interesting perspective of the future of #OpenBanking.
While this revealed there’s a lot of hype in the Space, it also revealed there’s so much work to be done outside of simply being a payment Gateway provider.
I drew attention to the exposure draft of the New CBN Licensing regime for payment system providers,The framework for fintechs.
Dele Adeyinka Chief Digital Officer of Wema Bank, was quick to make us understand that there’s been a Committee looking into the issue of “Capital adequacy” Regulatory demands of $15m for fintechs. As far as creating a new Office specifically for fintechs.
Carlos Figueredo stole the spotlight when he Boldly said “Digital Banking isn’t Open Banking.”
