Smart TVs killing Projectors in the market

Gone are the days where conference rooms, training centers or workers meeting will be mandated to use projectors for display. Smart TVs killing projectors in the market already.

Do you remember those days in the conference room and lecture theater where a big projector, projector stand, whiteboard and the flip chat will have to be carried about, with lot of setups before document or information can be displayed?

The narrative is changing across industries now as smart TVs are taking over from projectors. Conferences, training centers, lecture rooms now adopt the use of smart big screen TVs for this purpose.

Aside from the fact that getting a single TV is cheaper than getting a projector and all its attachment, smart TV is actually smart, flexible and classic than using a projector.

Smart displays are clearer, cleaner, you don’t need to deem or switch off the lights in the room. Meeting room projectors are a dying technology because of what the professional screens offer.

With the HDMI connection or possibly the wireless connection and perfectly enabled touch screen feature, projectors are already dead.

This phenomenon is called “marketing myopia”. What Uber did to Taxis, what Hotel.ng did to the hotels, the same Smart TVs doing to projector technology already. The makers of the projectors failed to define the industry where they operate and and refuse to innovate hence the product is dying.
